someone just made a recent post about the EGR valve and another person chimed in and said it could improve fuel economy with a working EGR system.

I should point out that my EGR system has been disabled (removed & capped where applicable) which may be affecting my fuel economy.

in addition, I understand that the EGR system provides a cooling effect, as well, which may also be why I need to run premium fuel all the time, or else.
