Good to hear on the car tire performance.
Before I lifted/SAS'ed my truck, I ran Blizzaks on it and it went through 6-8" of snow no problem, more with momentum kept up. (FYI, my truck started it's life as a 2wd).
My DD doesn't have much of a ground clearance (probably about 4-5") so anything will help.
Did you have the tires long enough to see how well the tread wore?
