Jeff made this post in another thread (sorry for the confusion, man, the hack and ensuing server rework is still shaking things up at this end -- glad that most of it took place while I was in Moab and mostly off the net!)

The Zutah Wheelers will be happy to be the first to host shots of ZuZoo IX. The link will take you to our club website, particularly photos of Thursday's Metal Masher, Friday's PSM. and Saturday's Fins and things.

This is how you drive a rental in the wedge

This would be the proper way to drive in the wedge. Sorry man, it was to easy. I still love ya like a Zu Brother.

That's me in the rental heep, FWIW -- and Jeff has it right -- I was off-line by about a tire-width. I kept the hind-end high enough on the wall that it didn't cost me my deposit, tho! Heck, the nose-stand on the Rim night run had me much more worried about paint than this little slip in the Wedgie!

Extra credit, BTW, for the person NOT in attendance on the Poison Spider Mesa trail that day, who can identify what's going on in the last picture with Don's Trooper.

I was not in attendance on the trail, but since you told me about it I guess I'll bow out...

Just made it home, will have to download pics later. Right now I have to go out and make hay (literally) in my yard...

BTW the Trooper rode just fine 1200+ miles (and Steelbender) on only 3 shocks...

Is that the passenger rear lower trailing arm hanging down there?

No, it is the right rear shock. Don and Steve shared that malfunction... still, there's something odd in that picture closer to the front of the vehicle....

Yup. It worked amazingly well, and vented enough heat to keep it under 210 for the rest of the day. Don probably wishes I had used a black bungee, tho, to blend better.

There's some VERY nice work in that Trooper, and only a few small bugs to work out. Certainly less damage from the event than another one of our 4.3-Chebby Isuzu friends. We probably won't get a final report on that one until the old motor comes out, and it ran pretty well even with a killer knock.
