I've already found my donor case, and i've been lookin into getting a new adapter. I really like marlin mc-07, but i've seen all pro offroad has their Advanced Adapters adapter plate on sale. Is anyone running one of these? Is there any difference in strength/quality between what marlin puts out and AA's dual case adapter?

thanks,

First and foremost read this comparisonà

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transfercase/dual_compare.htm

and this postà

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=4310.0

I donÆt know of any other adapters than hereà

http://www.inchwormgear.com/

I'm not going to bash anyone, I have rec'd good service from both AllPro and Marlin. But, I'll say you won't find anyone that's better to do business with than Marlin's shop.

The adapters that other companies sell are Marlins old design. Marlin did redesigning of the adapter changing the bearing size and a few other things to improve it. While there is nothing wrong with the old style, I prefer dealing with Marlin. The only exception to this is Inchworm who designs and builds his own adapter. The reason that I prefer Marlin is the after sale service which is outstanding. Inchworm after sale service is also excellent. I have heard (hearsay) of cases when people have called the vendor that they bought their adapter with a problem, the vendor would tell them ôwe just sell the adapter and do not offer tech supportö. In my opinion, go with the best Marlin.

i've been on marlins site like a million times, but i never saw that link. I knew he puts out great products, thats where i got my 4.7 gearset, but i still always look around for the best buy. I'll probably go with his adapter, seeing how i would only want to buy this thing once!

thanks
