For those of you running Cooper Tires on your rig like I'am you may have a problem. According to a our local ABC news affliate, WXYZ Detroit, Cooper Tires are having a tread separation issues. Those tires have DOT numbers that start with U9, 3D, UT or UP. And you guessed it my Discoverers start with UT. I have 44,000 miles and I have used 0.20 inches of tread. Before I purchased the tires I looked at many tires manufacturers for performance, price and how people rated them. Cooper Tires got a thumbs up. So I'm very dismayed to hear this about Cooper Tires.
