I also have the Discoverer tires and have been quite pleased with them. From what I have read, the tires which were in question were manufactured between January 1, 1985 and January 6, 2002. If anyone has heard differently than I'd like to hear about it. You can find bad things about any tire if you look hard enough, they key is to inspect your tires for problems and to keep air pressure where it should be.
