to plug up the ends of the tubing, i remember reading from somewhere that u can go get some 25cents bouncy ball from toy stores or the gum machine to plug it up temporaly. I'm going to order 10 or 20 of these. I'm sure they will be handy for other projects also. Man that looks sexy. You gotta love that Rustoleum Hammerd paint.
Now get rid of that IFS, it's making your bumper look bad

I absolutely mean this in the best most positive way... Makes your truck look like it's wearing a football helmet. COOL! I guess the one thing that hangs me up about bumpers like this is that's its WELDED on. What if you need to take it off?
If Mad Max had a 4runner...

Thanks Tex. You aren't the first to find a resemblance to a football helmet. I think that will tone down some when more tubing is added.
There are certainly advantages to bolting things on, but this bumper will be part of an external roll cage (exo), so I think welding it on is the right way to go. If it needs to be removed, there are always cutoff wheels, sawzall blades, and torches.

You need to handle the rotational force of winching or impact or it will fold like a bad suit. Triangulate with the frame, preferably the top of the rails.
Decent effort! Lotsa work.

No can do at work. But if it is only mounted at the frame crossmember, down low, a winch will peel it right off and an impact will roll it back into your radiator, both due to leverage.
I was suggesting some upper mount, perhaps through the body to the top of the frame rails. Or, strengthening the stock upper fender mount bolts and using them, like Front Range Offroad does with their bumper.
FWIW, I did the latter, and ran 1/4" plate steel in vertical triangles from my winch mounting plate down to the crossmember, tying the whole assembly together. But there are lots of ways to do it.
