Sounds like you just got bored of it and need some fresh-project motivation. I saw the post on your frame cracking, but that was over a year ago. Get off your butt and fix that beauty!

LOL! The truck hasn't really moved since I sold the house and packed all of the tools, etc in my Mom's shed. Living downtown isn't conducive to working on the truck. Looks like I might be putting an offer in on a house tomorrow, so that will likely take my time and $$ for the winter and into next year... I don't anticipate this thing getting attention until Spring.

Good luck with the house buy. I can't wait to do the same.

UPDATE

I finally got my truck back after a long summer away. I am pumped about adding all the support pieces to the bumper, but had to get a little job done first for the bumper I am trading. The guy wanted a two-bend stinger with some simple diagonal supports, so here's what I put together for him. I'll post some pics when he gets it cut & installed on his truck.

Yesterday I added this support tube on the passenger side. I am going to do something similar on the driver's side, but I'll hack into the body mount a little so I can get it forward on the frame. I need to leave some room to move the steering box forward.

Right now I have 33s on IFS and (of course) there seems to be enough tire clearance. I'm not sure what'll happen with a solid axle (moved forward maybe 1-1.5") and larger tires (37-38"). Anyone think this tube will be a problem?

Not quite as well done as yours, but it'll work... FROR front brace, held on at 6 mount points:
