so it's had come the time were i can retire the truck from DD as i have a aquired another vehicle, and i am going to start a tear down and replace/ fix all of the stuff that has been neglected, half-azzed, or were i used old junk parts to get by.

i am already going through and fixing the runabilitly problems of the truck, and have found/ fixed a bunch on just the motor alone, and i am still tinkering. it was amazing at how much was bad or out of spec and the girl still ran as she did.

any way a major part the needs to be up dated bad is the suspension. i did the SAS on her(a '92) and i am going to re-fab the ways i mounted the leaf springs. so i have come across a different i idea. i was browsing through the all-pro list and found that there SAS kit converts it to a 3-link coil in the front.

now my question is have you guys tried this suspension out and whould it be better than re-fabing the leaf mounts and going with a 6" lift. right now i run 36 swampers but am thinking about going to 38's.
note--- this will be a wheeling rig, the goal to have a rig that and wheel like mad on the trail but still be able to drive itself there and drive herself home to. i generally am the all around wheeler, mud, trails, dunes, rocks, pretty much anywere i can take the truck and not get ticketed.
