Did they make an evo gen1?

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

I have no idea - HongKonger, can you take some measurements on that hood for me?

[EDIT] It's not a Gen1 - it doesn't have the crease down the centerline.... I guess the question is if the dimensions are the same as a Gen1. Maybe the scoop could be cut out and installed on a Gen1 hood, though. I don't need that much scoop width, but if it was available..... [EDIT]

No fun having a supercharger if you don't have a scoop. Unless your going for the sleeper look to fry up some import racers on Sat night

Yeah, I know - but my wife is 5'4", I already have 32" tires and LWB rear springs - and I refuse to add running boards. When I bought the truck, one of the selling points was that she could use it to go to Lowe's to haul mulch .... so, a 2" body lift would make that statement a bald-faced lie and me a liar. She's frequently asking why the truck has the garage tied up, why my SL is sitting outside in the weather and why she's hauling mulch in her '06 ML350. Come to think of it, so am I.

Roll Me Over
C'mon - where's the creativity

Seriously, how about a Kevlar hood? Can't think of a more straight forward project to learn the craft - pre-existing hood, wood template for the scoop...those hongkong ones look like a composite Gen2 hood.

Looking good Frank.
