Why is it like that?

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Maybe we should not jumble up Frank's super charger thread. Start another post. I dont know how to do that suff or I would do it too. What about put a race track background with a couple of GT cars in front of him.

On topic, Frank, did you drive it yet?

Not yet, Sparky.... still need to:

1) tweak (as in bend) the heater hose pipes a little more
2) make the nose drive brace/idler bracket
3) grind/drill/tap the alternator stay bracket
4) make a fuel pressure regulator mount
5) fashion a 2 piece air duct with an aluminum sleeve (in the middle) to receive the CCV hose
6) send the new injectors off for flow testing
7) shorten the throttle and kickdown cables
8) lengthen the TPS/IAC harness
9) make paper gaskets for the blower, blower plate and inlet flange
10)make an EGR block-off plate
11)drill/tap a mounting hole for the choke and capacitor that are normally mounted on the coil bracket
12)put everything together one last time
13)make a hood scoop
14)tune it

As little time as I get to work on it, it might be a couple of months before it's running.

Frank

An old jack handle worked well as a sort of mandrel to gain bending leverage on the heater hose tubes:

The heater hoses no longer rub:

One small job is done and now I can final-install the lower intake and coolant hoses.
