You've experienced the pleasure of an engine swap <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />, so you can imagine what's involved. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /> I've counted 32 crimped/soldered/shrink-wrapped connections so far for the AFM, TPS and IAC and by my count, another 18 more yet to go for the ignition circuit. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" /> Instead of opening the main harness to the shortest run, I'm doubling back the individual harness groups on themselves - so that requires larger, hand-formed cable clamps.<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /> The main slowdown with doubling back is that the harness cuts are very close to the connectors and harness branches, leaving very short stubs to work with.... not a lot of fun.... it just takes patience and time to hopefully do the job right on the first try.
