I have a similar issue with the TPS. The TPS has 4 pins and the MS wiring diagram shows only 3 wires.... ground, Vref and TPS signal.

The Mitsu manual says pin #1 is ground and pin #4 is sensor power.

When I connect an ohmmeter to pins #1 & #3, I get the smooth increase in resistance, so I assume pin #3 is the variable TPS signal to MS.

Does this look correct?:

pin #1 = ground
pin #2 = Vref
pin #3 = TPS signal
pin #4 = 12v+ switched

Or is one pin unused?

the first-second pin on TPS is the "idle switch" (pin 1 is ground)
pin 3 is power, pin 4 is output

sounds backwards to me
