I've sent an email to Matt at DIYautotune to ask if it's feasible to use the Mitsu stepper.... also PM'd franklynberry to see if he has any suggestions, since I've seen on the MS forum that he had issues trying to use the OE stepper motor.

Enough heads and we'll get to the bottom of this yet. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> It does seem from the MS post that there's enough resistance in the coils to keep from burning out the driver with current over-draw.

If I can't find out for sure, I think I'll give the stepper motor a good talking to and tell it that it's really a GM stepper motor and wire it accordingly..... and dare it to complain. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
