After looking at the FSM, there are 3 places other than the ignition switch and associated pigtail connectors that could interrupt the switched power to the coil.

1) the 100A main fuse (good because the starter works)
2) the IGN fusible link (good on my voltmeter test)
3) connector B-71 between the fusible link and the coil

I was messing with B-71 and B-72 today to try to tuck a harness under the B-71/B-72 bundle. I could get B-72 apart, but not B-71. I pulled it a little, but never could get it to separate. I think this is where I'll find the electrical problem tomorrow.

[EDIT] B-67 is also a suspect, although I haven't been messing with that one - wherever it is - somewhere behind the passenger side headlight. [EDIT]
