Here's the leaker - nasty looking thing - somehow, it pulled some of the sheath and rubber up into the inner threads and fuel was blowing out between the connector and the hose - it never had a chance:

Brendan's off the hook because that one was done before he got here. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> So, a new piece of hose was installed and all is well...... the system pressurized to 45psi, the regulator kicked in, steadied at 40psi , I removed pump power and 45 minutes later, it still shows ~20psi..... no fuel smell, no leaks. JB Weld works great as a sealant for permanent threaded fittings. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> - the leaker was to the right in the picture:
