I am one of the few that due to missing ligaments in my right knee I actually can kick my own <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />

When I was putting my SR back together yesterday I found something to caution. Mine does not have bolts in every hole of the cover since it is a swap. One must watch the metal spacers in the cover that will not have a fastener, some of them may be loose. I had one in Que to drop into the belt. As we see belts are not tolerant of debris in there.
Sometimes I question if I want to drive in headlight deep water or deep muck with a belt drive engine. This may be where the old 2.6 shines. I know mine has been fully submerged a few times.

Good luck with the reinstall, at least it is straight forward since the timing is all set.

Not that this has any good side but at least it can not be blamed on the Megasquirt as many engine issues have been over the years.

Cheers, Charlie
