Nope - not a joke at all..... wish it was. I've seen some upgrade couplers that are supposed to be tougher than the factory ones, but you'd think the OE coupler would last more than a few thousand miles. Anyway, I'm not sure that's the problem - I would think if it was bearings, the rotors would seize or at leat squeal - but no, only a very loud rattle. It's also possible that the bypass valve butterfly is loose, but I don't see any fluctuation in vacuum or boost..... weird. I'll see what it is when I take off the blower and tear it down.
