No, it's the blower - with the belt off, I no longer can turn the blower pulley more than 1/16th turn...... it's locked up.

I also have a slight valve tick, so a needle bearing roller may have chipped a valve.

I'm wondering if the hood scoop is trapping heat and led to bearing failure - or if it's just a fluke. Maybe I'll put a Fluke meter on it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, I'll take some pictures of what I find when I get around to pulling the blower. I guess the Raider is retired for the time being.
