Patience, grasshopper........ don't forget that extra fuel can provide the same benefit as higher octane..... to a point. Let's see what the rod length and deck height are once everything's installed. I do want a crisp throttle, but not a crispy engine.

Maybe if I add enough fuel and delay spark lead, I can get those neat flames out of the exhaust on full throttle. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I'm hoping this block had a long deck height and the align honing didn't reduce it at all...... and I hope I don't need head shims..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
