It does sound silly to hold this up while I tinker with a battery. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> I'm making some progress recovering it, but it's probably not going to be a reliable fix. I just looked to see when I bought the battery and it was in December '04. Since then, it has been abused by sitting for long periods without charging, so it's time for a new one.

So, now I'll hold it up while I wait for one to be shipped. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
