Since the bump stops are in the stock location, you will bottom out at the same place as stock. When you bottom out or articulate fully, the tires will rub the plastic fender.

When looking at the axle, the bolt will be at the bottom. The nut is usually welded to the bolt, but you can still take the bolt out. I like to take the stops out and put a washer in as a shim. If you don't use the same length addition to each side, one side will rub and the other won't.

Would there be a problem putting on some 2" spacers for a wider width?

Not with a body lift. I never rub.

Moving that bolt is going to lessen your turning radius. Probably not by much but still...

Noah Just about everyone stops turning when the rubbing starts anyway! So why not delete the rubbing by a turn or two on the bolt? Then it will NEVER rub again.

Yeah, but a better rim offset and you neither rub on the frame nor loose turning radius. Raise the body up out of the way and you don't rub the fenders. I realize the OP wants to keep his rims but maybe that just isn't the right answer...gonna bust em up in the woods anyway, right?
