Guys... I am really looking for a lift (3-6 inches all suspension). I have recently heard that the tacoma lifts will work for the front and then all i need to do is get coils and some spacers for the back (ie. OME coils and some coil spacers)... Any suggestions or kits that anyone knows of? Anyone done this and can send me some pics or advice?

The magic recipe seems to be Tundra TRD 4WD coils with your choice of OME shocks (requires a front limiting strap), Tacoma double cab blue Tokico shocks (good but also pricey at the dealership) or the Tokico Trekmaster, which are Tokico's highest end SUV shocks. This will give you 1.75" of front lift. Add a 3/8" spacer and extended studs for a 2.25" lift. A diff drop is recommended. You can use Daystar, etc. spacers to lift even further.
In the rear you can use Downey 3" lift coils, Landcruiser coils (3.5" lift) or the standard OME 880/881/882.

www.sonoransteel.com I believe has a couple 3rd gen setups. I don't know much about them, other than them being in AZ, and that they'll ship to Alaska.

You can start here http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/4Runner/tech/suspension/For 3-6" you'll have to adapt a Procomp lift from a Tacoma of the same vintage to drop the front axle that much. The rear will require something custom with FJ80 springs, dropped panhard, different top arms at minimum and some custom length shocks. For shocks you can ref http://www.larsdennert.com/misc for specs on shock lengths for different brands. The XLS has many brands and the MX6 only PC.

Ok I have revised my question a little more... I am trying to fit 33 x 12.50 mud terrains without rubbing... no serious axle flex room needed. What is the easiest, cheapest route for now since i still have engine work to do
