On the Pickups, Rodeos, and Amigos, it's behind the driver side kick panel.

On the 1st Gen Troopers, at least the v6 (not sure on 4 cylinders), are under the center console.

On the 2.6L's, there's a 2 wires you hook together to throw the computer into diagnostic mode.

On the 2.8L's (3.1's as well?), there's an ALDL (I believe that's what it's called) connector that you have to jumper the upper right 2 pins with a wire to throw it into diagnostic mode.

3.2's? I have no idea on how they do it to be honest. Haven't seen them, so I don't know for sure. Maybe someone who knows will chime in.

I know Chris has a picture somewhere on here that shows the connector for the Pickups, Rodeos, and Amigos. I'll see if I can find that and link to it ...
