I have a T100 that has been awesome. I've recently been burned by a dealership trying to trade her in, so I decided to keep it and do some repairs.

It's a 1995 Longbed T100, 2WD 2.7L (dont think they made the LWB with the V6), 117k mi. Just bought a new radiator for it, and have almost replaced all the banged-up body panels.

My question is this... I'm considering getting slightly larger tires on it and maybe like a 1.5" or 2" lift. I have a totally stock setup I believe, 225/70/R15, and was considering going bigger. I'll probably be using it in the woods from now on. How will the 4 banger handle the larger tires, and how large would be large enough to provide a nice smooth ride yet not overload the 2.7L? It's also the dreaded automatic... not alot going my way for power lol.

Also, are there any cheap ways to get more power out of the 2.7L? Just a few added horsepower would go a long way in this case. Dont know if there are performance chips, etc. that you guys could recommend. I'm pretty much a total amatuer, but I love my truck.
