I do lots of completes, probably 2-4 year. We do lots jeep tubs, etc.
We do quite a few pickups and SUVs, mostly it's customers with a "beater" that they are cleaning up for wheeling/hunting/etc. I usually try to talk people out of going above the windows. It's very difficult to trim around the windows, wipers, etc. and still have it look good. Due to the thickness of the material, you wind looking at all the cut edges around everything that was masked.
I have done plenty all the way up, but it is very time consuming, so the price goes way up.
As for price I've been as low as 1200 for a "high rocker panel" job, to 2800 for a '76 suburban complete in a custom color.
As for wieght- Not an issue. On a Raider or even LWB, it wouldn't add more than maybe 80lbs.
