Uh... I don't recall saying that. They don't. I just would not have ponied up for them if I could get Longfields. YMMV.

The folks were quite correct on Profields. They do indeed suck - or used to in the first run, at least. Ruined credibility in my book.

The Marfields may in fact work great in your application. Longfields suffer to a slight extent in that their hardness is reduced to gain strength in hard usage (at least the version I run are), which theoretically reduces their wear life.

My application requires strength even at some small expense of wear resistance.
