flowmaster 50 series, 2" pipe from cat to muffler, 2.25" muffler to exit. Thats what eb recommends. Works great for me. I also gained 1.5-2 mpg w/ that upgrade.

Isn't that loud? i was thinking about putting a flowmaster on my 22re but i was scared it would sound like a rice rocket, which i absolutely can not have

Body Damage is Cool
nope. its pretty quite but has a nice throaty tone to it. 4crawler has a sound clip on his site. it doesnt sound like a rice rocket at all. just make sure you get the 50 series and not the 40 b/c it is too loud for most people.

Mudrunner
Okay, I'm going with the Flowtech Raptor mounted in the stock position with 2' pipe from the cat to it, 2.25" out the back. I had a motorcycle (streetbike) silencer 18" from the cat on 2.25" pipe and confirmed that I did suffer some HP loss. Very bad with so little to begin with. It didn't sound bad, just too little back pressure. I'll post the results of my performance test once I have it all set.
