OK i been trying to follow this thread on ajusting the tv cable, i just finish a 4.3tbi 700r conversion and the way i was told to set my tv cable was with it hook up to the tbi unit and mounted on the bracket, the piece that ajust the cable in and out, set it all the way in then with the engine off by hand move the thottle to wot, it should set it's self, them do the same thing when the trans is hot.
