Got a few issues worked out this weekend. I drained the T-case to address the leaks. The rear cover plate was easily fixed with some RTV. Once I pulled the rear driveshaft, I noticed way too much play in the rear output shaft. Apparently what happend was that the dust shield on the Isuzu flange I used was hitting the lip of the T-case output. This is why it wouldn't turn when I torqued down the nut. Once things got turning, the lip got worn down, and the shaft started to ride on the seal, which wasted the rubber portion, and allowed the oil out. I pulled the dust shield off, and ordered a new seal, which should take care of things. At least I didn't drive it any more than I did <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />.

I got out my trusty Ohm meeter, and determined that the trans temp sender is grounded to the T-fitting, and the ground wire I installed is indeed grounded to the frame. I ran out of hose clamps, so I couldn't get that finished before the rain started. With the rest of these little issues addressed, I can consentrate on the TV adjustment.
