Found part of my problem last night. Here is the new rodeo flange next to the stock D300 output yoke

Once I got the replacement seal yesterday, it became obvious that the ID would not fit the D44 flange. I don't know why I didn't check this before. When I torqued down the output shaft nut, it most likely pressed out the rubber portion of the seal, and created the leak. The front output seems to be sealed just fine using the same seal, and I'm not inclined to go looking for new problems. It's possible that the front yoke, which was from a '98 Amigo 4.77 10-bolt 3rd member, has a lower profile flange shaft, which fits the seal.

So basically, I need to find a source for a seal to meet these measurements. My first stop was McMaster.com, but I can't seem to find anthing that matches this type of seal. Any other ideas for listings of seals by dimension? It's a standard oil seal, with a steel ring, and a rubber gasket on the inside with a spring.

I dropped off my skid plate to be cut today. Glad I remembered my geometry <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

That mess will all make sense once its welded together.
