Yeah,
Get it wet and keep it really warm in there for several days. Make sure there is some organic material in the carpet.

Mine molded up without a problem, that's why I tore it out in the first place.

If you're really lucky you may get some really funky mushrooms too! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I used Peel & Seal as well, then overlaid that with reflectix. My 83 didn't have carpet, just the rubber mat, so I put that over the reflectix. It's a lot quieter(can actually hear the wind noise around the mirrors now). Carpet would probably further reduce the noise, but I don't like carpet on a truck that sees a lot of trail use.
