i got a timing cover off of ebay once, made sure my threads on the bolts and the holes were perfectly clean, and stripped two oil pump bolts as well. also, the bottom passenger side bolt for the cover that goes thru the AC brakcet was WAY crooked....i ended up throwing the thing across the shop. get one from engnbldr.com, hes got em for about 65 shipped and theyre good quality. theres a million things that can go wrong in this area, you have oil, coolant, 2 pumps and all the timing components here. get a good one. also, id get a Haynes or an FSM(check the very first post in forum) and get the clearance specs for the oil pump, you may be able to reuse it. as for the water pump, if you havent had any cooling problems and the bearing seems ok, you can prolly reuse it as well. my 2 cents
