That is correct. I had a handy hole in the firewall that the end of the pendant would fit through and the glove box being cardboard, was easy to penetrate. I don't keep anything else in the glovebox, gloves go in the console or the boonie box. In general I like to be where I can see that the cable is spooling properly and not getting damaged but believe me, I'll probably be the first to duck behind something when the load warrants it. My pennant is 12' long so I have about 8' to play with outside the window. More than enough to hide behind the whole Jeep if needed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
