I don't know anything about EZ Lockers. I have had LockRights in both ends of my CJ-7 with 4.56 gears (rear has a Warn full floater), and have had zero problems with it.

As with any automatic locker in the front, don't engage the front axle if you're on icy roads with reverse camber. That's why an actuated locker (like an Air Locker) is probably better for a vehicle that spends most of its time on the street. -- but you'll pay about twice as much.
