Ok, let me get this right in my head. You drove it and found it to be not working correctly. THEN you looked and found extra parts? Put the extra parts where they belong and try again.
Using it on dry ground is ALWAYS going to give you problems. It is not advised to do. Find some soft stuff to drive on when in 4x4.
