I contacted 4Wheel Parts with my problem, he said that the washers were for the non c-clip axle. I inspected and re-installed everything exactly as the instructons indicated. After doing this a second time, I realized that there was no other way the parts could go in and there was no place for the washers. Back on the road, exactly the same, I couldn't fully let the clutch out before the loud snapping and banging started.
I did notice one thing, my nephews LockRight kit had a new cross pin with no flats, my QuickLock required me to use my old pin with four flats machined in, .
what do you think about this being my problem, even tho' my instructions said nothing about a new pin required?
I'm getting to old for this stuff!
