Just for the record, I picked up my 2002 Trooer S last month for $8500. I couldn't be happier, with the truck and with the price I paid.

It's an automatic, 34k miles, aftermarket stereo, new Revos, a mild lift, and more. It took a couple of months to find, and I'm glad I was ready when it showed up, because it wouldn't have lasted long on the market. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I think I shocked the heck out of the seller, because after the test drive I told him I'd take it for the asking price. I thought it was a great price, and I didn't want to take advantage of the guy. I probably could have knocked a bit more off the price if I was so inclined.
