Hey Isuzoids,

Are there any reasons I should NOT consider using Slick 50 or other PTFE engine treatment? The engine in question is a 3.1 w/ 180k (never rebuilt).

Do the potential benefits outwiegh any potential risks? I ask because I've gotten a diverse number of opinions from locals: "Don't do it! It'll ruin your engine!", or "Do it! it'll increase your MPG!". I respect the opinions here.
