So I got started today on my head swap & timing chain project. (No garage so this is in the hot a$$ parking lot)I always hear to pull the head w/ the intake manifold attached... So i disconnected the only fuel line i saw running to it (actually it broke -love rust- so i'll have to ask you all how to fix that w/out buying an entire fuel line, but thats later). Anyhow, it seems there is a part of the wiring harness that is attached to both the intake manifold components, and the MAF & Ignition components. I dont see any way to disconnect this, am I missing something? Do I unplug it at the MAF & coil (or whatever it is mounted on the driver fender) and pull the head w/ this 4 feet of wire or does it disconnect at the manifold and I'm just not seeing it... Let me know fellas.
