sorry if I am confusing things.

They took it back to the mechanic when it started acting up - losing power, etc. etc. They said he tore it down to see what was wrong, then told them that it looked like a cylinder wall was bad, but that his timing belt was fine. And yes, he put it back together the way it was.

Like I said, I don't have much faith that the engine is any good at all. I might have to pass this up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
