Bansil,

I have talked to Ed in the past about the 2.8/3.1. I am going to try what he is running. A 2.8 bored 0.30" and stroked with a 3.1 crank kit. He stated that this yeilds a 3.2 and one should get...

"so I'd say you could conservatively build a 3.1 to put out a strong 150 HP and a nice chunk of torque. The a 2.8 bored out .030" over and 'stroked' with a 3.1 crank displaces 3.2L, so it's not really that far removed from a 3.4 anyway."

He sent me a good bit of detailed information if you would like to read any of it. May cost the same in the long run, but the parts should be easy to get. Seemed like a fairly easy way to get the job done to me...and more power.
