Number of ways to fix this leak. A sleeve is one way. Ive had good results just seating the seal 3/4 of the way into the oil pump. Replace the oil pump and oil pump seal while you have this apart....no matter how you fix the main seal leak.

PS... I have like 5 front main seals laying around for 22R's. If you want one Ill send it to you for the price of shipping. I have these extra seals because a total rebuild kit that includes an oil pump also has another one in the gasket kit....and I have been known to rebuild a few 22R's.
