Sometimes the wheel hop can just be bad shocks though. I just replaced some old rear shocks and put in new ones and it was like night and day. I hadn't changed them since getting the truck last summer so I thought that was how it rode but now it is soooooooo much better. I sat check your suspension components I think I get what you mean.
