For reference: I've found 3 types of senders. Left to right:
1) "Switch" idiot light. Do not use this with a pressure gauge (SR5)

2) pressure sender - From an 87 SR5 4 runner. FSM says that this should cause a test light to "blink" when grounding to it.

3) pressure sender.. This one is from an 86 22RTE turbo pickup, it's also similar in design to what I've been buying aftermarket. It won't work with my gauge cluster, but resistance does vary with oil pressure (lower resistance = more oil pressure)
