Well, finally got around to doing the tranny cooler install. Here's a copy/paste of what I posted on another forum....now I have both the temp gauge and the cooler "on-line" smile Life is Good! ZUK

On my little rescue mission a couple of weeks ago, I watch my tranny temp gauge creep up to 180 degrees as I was working my way slowly up the trail on that hot day. I wish the factory would put both a temp gauge and additional cooler in front of the radiator but that would be asking too much smile
If you tow anything or wheel in low range in July in AZ then get the cooler <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I just installed my cooler today....mounted it in front of the radiator. Basically, the procedure is remove the lower bumper/remove the upper bumper/ mount cooler/connect hoses to the DRIVER SIDE hose connection/put bumper back on/ DONE.
The fluid enters the passenger side built-in radiator cooler and exits out the driver side....so it's best to take it from the driver side and run it to the external unit for lower cool-down temps. Here's a couple pics. ZUK

I used a Hayden cooler. Here's the part number. I discovered I could have used a much bigger cooler if I wanted to but I doubt I will need it.

The cooler is actually mounted 1 inch higher than this pic shows.....I needed to do that to clear the Allpro bumper.

I routed the hoses thru this convenient hole....

Very important pic here.....add the cooler into the circuit on the LEFT side(driver side). Done! smile ZUK
