This is per request with Steve, who posted this originally on Pirate4x4 and asked someone to cross post this as he got in a bit of a bind. So basicly we are seeing how many people truly can get a deposit on one of these.

We started a thread and he chimed in saying this:

"I believe one of my suppliers in Aussie is planning a powertrax-style one... Virtually every single Isuzu on the road here has a 12-bolt... never ever seen anything else under em... so there would be a good market down under...

I'll follow him up and see if its still on the cards... do I take it there would be a US market for them?"

"Who'd buy one at $325 with possibly $10-15 freight depending where you are?

Thats a 12-bolt (26 spline? from memory) Isuzu corporate axle auto locker.

They are not in production yet, but close aparently... I have been asked to keep most of the details under wraps until they confirm but thats the pricing I've been given to gauge interest."

I will keep this updated, or Steve will take it over once he gets a chance.

Uh, DejaVu anybody:

It's been awhile since that thread was started, but you actually posted early on in it.

I'm thinking we need to stay with the Project Matthew has going on since we really need for that 10-bolt locker to get made 'cuz there's a whole lot of ISUZU 10-bolts out there in addition to the 12-bolts.

I thought there was already a 12-bolt ratchet locker being made in Australia, called the Lokka?

Cheers,

Do a quick search and you will find that the cost of the Lokka will not be $325. They are typically $600+

I'd say stick with Matt and the deal he's working on. That will end up being cheaper and net us the 10 bolt as well.
