I tried the fix yesterday to no avail...

I loosened up all the ground terminals, cleaned under them, and put the screws back in. Fired it up, and it was instantly just under 1/2, like it always is.

Oh, well... I guess I will be installing an aftermarket gauge in the dash using the block drain...

I keep getting the feeling like I'm running on borrowed time, and one of these times when I start it up, the problem will be right back there.
