Those are some nice bucks bigjim. Any of them book bucks? high scores if ya had em scored? archery or rifle? Private land, Public land or both? My wife has nightmares that my house will soon look like that. Here is my 1st. Got him in oregon last year on public land, scored 181 net 176 gross, 4x4. He's my only buck on the wall next to the antelope I got the year before in oregon (public land). Some day I'll have the walls covered

Howdy wix what a terrible photo of that nice buck! In the photo he looks a lot more like 160 than the 181 you measured. You got a pic of him on the wall?
My best whitetail is 232 and the best muly is 207. Seven of the bucks on the wall would make the book... but I have declined.
The best muly came from near Cortez Colorado a place called haycamp mesa. The best White Tail jumped the boundry fence from Canada into Montana and my waiting arms.
I'm happy you got to see em.

PS Then I looked again and the photo had been replaced with a nice buck on the wall.. Yeah you done good. That is indeed a nice buck for open land.

I look at them all day long in the back, they come right up to the deck begging and sleep along the tree line in the yard. Not particularly fond of them. During the rut we get to watch the X-rated shows

Big Jim,
I just can't properly admire the trophies in pictures. I think you need to have me up to see it in person. November or December will be best for me. I bet I could learn alot from you. Awsome mounts and alot to be proud of.

Cheers,
Rocky

Hey guys, I have spent one lifetime and two fortunes doing what I do. It was a huge labor of love of the outdoors. From the heat of Mexico to the killing cold of Canada. I lost at least three different jobs because I was gone hunting nearly all winter. I doesn't matter what I am doing, when old man Frost comes he calls me out...and I come.
This is the first year that I have nothing planned. I guess I will hunt that private lease that is 120 feet wide and 2,000 miles long! Or maybe set a snare in the back yard.
