I don't like the hood mount 'cause I like to put the windshield down. Don't like the bumper or side mounts 'cause of potential damage to the jack and exposure to sand and mud. I keep my 48" tied to the roll bar in a vertical position. I used to keep it on the floor behind the seats but it stayed too dirty and damp.
